POETS IN NIGERIA INITIATIVE LAUD CORA AND NIGERIA LNG LIMITED FOR HOSTING THE CORA - NPL BOOK PARTY

The *CORA - NPL BOOK PARTY which held on Sunday, August 6 2022 at Shell Hall, MUSON CENTRE, Onikan, Lagos was a beautiful showcase of Eleven (11) Longlisted Playwrights eyeing USD100,000 prize sponsored by Nigerian LNG Limited. It was a well organised event that came through for CORA, known for commitment to world class delivery on Literary events. Meanwhile, Nigerians will continually commend the Nigeria LNG for keeping on with the sponsorship of the following prizes generally rated amongst top 10 Literary prizes in the world: Nigeria Prize for Literature, Nigeria Prize for Literary criticism, and Nigerian Prize for Science respectively.

10) Henry Akunbuiro - Yamtarawala

11) Olatumbosun Taofeek - Where is Patient Zero?

Administered by an Advisory Board of distinguished Nigerians, the world awaits their usual informed verdict on who carts home the prestigious "winner-takes-all" prize. Even though many including my humble self had clamoured and still clamouring for "not-a-winner-takes" all situation, the Nigeria LNG Limited holds on to her position. Notwithstanding, what one will readily say in Pidgin is - "if at all..." with loud kudos to Nigeria LNG for being a major-voice-standing for merit in our country.
