ARA Aderinoye Literary Prize : Call for submissions
Are you a poet based in Kwara State?
Submit your original poem for a chance to win the ARA Aderinoye Literary Prize.
Eligibility: Open to poets domiciled in Kwara State.
Cash Prize: ₦100,000
Theme: “Gender Relations, Social Responsibility and Shared Nation Building”
Guidelines for Submission:
- Poem must be original and written in direct response to the Call's theme.
-Maximum of 25 lines, one entry per poet.
-Submit as a Word document (.docx) or PDF attachment, titled with the poet's full name and poem title.
-Include, in the body of the email: full name, email address, telephone number, and residential address in Kwara State.
-Upload your submissions to: Surveymars
-Deadline: Tuesday, 22nd September 2026.
- AI-generated poems will be disqualified.
Key Dates:
Shortlist announcement: Saturday, 3rd October 2026, at the Kwara Poetry Championship (KCPC) Capacity Building Workshop.
Winner announcement: Saturday, 24th October 2026, at the Kwara Poetry Championship (KCPC).
